Are you sick of hearing about how "motorcycles and motorcyclists are such a burden to society"? Well, I happened to come across an article from my local (USA) paper that talked about various costs to society for a number of different items. These numbers apparently come from the National Public Services Research Institute. The following graph shows a number of different items. Notice that non-use of Motorcycle Helmets is so small, it's barely a smudge on the graph. All the other items, with the exception of the Sexual Harrasment, are all in the billions of dollars. Makes you wonder, doesn't it?
